Mai is a sentient non-being entity who likes shoes, doesn't believe in giraffes and has a tragic hunger for pie.

Skilled in immersive daydreaming, his grasp on reality is, at best, tenuous. He possesses a hefty collection of dolls ornamental figurines, reads too many webcomics, and there is a 50/50 chance at any given moment that he is actively falling asleep on your couch.

Residing in Melbourne, Australia, you might think that the local reputation for fashion would have positively influenced him at some point. Unfortunately it did not, resulting in a personal aesthetic rivalled only by a taste in music loosely described as ecclectic.

The Tortured Chicken Asylum originally began life in 2004 as a way for me to avoid doing things which were, at the time, probably more important.

As it stands, not much has changed; the Asylum continues to be a means of avoiding important societal obligations, and I still possess frighteningly little technical knowledge of contemporary web-development!

Due to the transient nature of the Asylum, it exists in a variable state of disrepair. If you experience any problems with the site please do not hesitate to keep it to yourself, this is not an open dialogue and no, I do not accept constructive criticism.
